Applications: Commercial laundry dryer motors.

Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC): Operates similarly to capacitor-start motors, but there is no centrifugal starting switch and what correspond to the "start" windings (second windings) are permanently connected to the power source (through a run capacitor), along with the run windings. PSC motors are frequently used in air handlers, blowers, and fans (including ceiling fans) and other cases where variable speeds are desired.

WILL HAVE TO REMOVE REAR ENDBELL.- remove blue jumper between auxiliary switch and terminal 3- remove black jumper from thermal protector and connect it to terminal 3; OEM ALLIANCE LAUNDRY, Pt# 440486-01)
